Scientific Works

Pantazis Vryniotis is an Attorney at Law. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court. Pantazis holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and a Master in Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure (LL.M.) with “first class honors” from the Law School of the Democritus University of Thrace (D.U.Th). Pantazis also holds a Ph.D. with “first class honors” from D.U.Th, completing his Ph.D. thesis in Criminal Law. He is  an Adjunct Lecturer in Criminal Law at the Law School of the Democritus University of Thrace (2021 – present). He has participated as a speaker in scholarly events and in legal seminars of the National School of The Judiciary. Pantazis was selected to teach “criminal procedure” (2017 – 2020) and “criminal law” (2020 – present) at the Greek Police Officers School. He has published a monograph (Ph.D), several studies in legal journals and has contributed to collective publications. In 2023, he was awarded the Konstantinos Tsirimokos Prize by the Hellenic Criminal Bar Association. The Prize is awarded periodically to criminal defence attorneys who excel in the courtroom and contribute to both the theory and practice of criminal law. Pantazis is a member of the Athens Bar Association, the Hellenic Criminal Bar Association and the National Association of Criminal Law.

Awards

  • Konstantinos Tsirimokos Prize
    On January 30, 2023, Pantazis was awarded the Tsirimokos Prize (2022) by the Hellenic Criminal Bar Association. The Prize is awarded periodically to criminal defence attorneys who excel in the courtoom and contribute to both the the theory and practice of criminal law.
